Most students receive education within basic support. They can keep up well with the curriculum and also do not need additional support in terms of behavior.
The basic support describes what can at least be expected from every school within Haaglanden in the area of education and educational support. Basic support consists of four components and is in order if:

1. Basic quality is adequate according to the Education Inspectorate
2. Work is done according to the principles of action-oriented work
3. Educational support at school is well organized
4. The preventive and light curative interventions are offered at a sufficient level.The partnership provides money to the schools to shape the basic support.

Having and keeping basic support in order is a responsibility of the school and school board. The Education Inspectorate monitors this.
